Half Marathon??

I was planning to run the half marathon(13.1 miles) next January, but I waited too long to sign up so now I am on the waiting list with 2,509 people in front of me!!! So I am thinking I am not going to get in. But I am still training of course! Last Saturday,(In the HOT morning SUN) I ran 6.4 miles (1:11), stopped for about 20 minutes and stretched, then I did 3.2 more miles(34:00min?). So just four more miles to go!! My time is decent, I guess. I thinking that it will take me about 2:30 to run the half,(if I run at the right time of the day!) but I am hoping my time will go down some still.......
